Etiquette is a code of behavior that delineates expectations for social behavior according to contemporary conventional norms within a society, social class, or group. The French word étiquette, literally signifying a tag or label first appeared in English around 1750.~Wiki
The thing to remember when you come into Vegas is that we are a city and we are not different from most. Sure the nickname Sin City kicks in but there are things that aren’t real or are assumptions. For instance, not everyone lives in hotels.
The truth is most hotels unless they have a condo option do not have residents who stay there and get groceries there. We get groceries at Vons or Albertson’s. We go to Costco’s or Sam’s Club. Wal-Mart has deals too!

Another thing is the word VIP. Yes it is Very Important Person. But it doesn’t mean you’re gonna get that treatment. So please don’t act like a princess because you have a VIP card. Many people get those. I’m just sayin…

Cocktail waitresses, servers, bartenders, hosts, and hostesses are real people with real jobs. They depend on tourism and locals to help support their businesses. Please be respectful! These are not easy jobs. You see the glitz and glamour But, if they say no, or because they have boyfriends or girlfriends. Husbands or wives. Kids or pets. Then leave them alone. Because they’re just a fantasy for you at the moment. Tip them accordingly and don’t be a douche. Because the reality is most of the tourists eventually go home. They usually have the “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas mentality.” The truth is…we also stay here. We also gotta deal with the consequences.

Gambling:
No we don’t all gamble every day. Every second spending hundreds of dollars. If we did we’d be rich and not working hard to get ahead. Yes there are people with that problem. But the reality is we are like a lot of other cities.

So if you’re visiting here, we are dishing out deals at Cityspoon. But we also will be here to show you a good time without breaking your bank or the law.
